Kate, Princess of Wales - not seen this year.

If I were a reporter, I'd go to the farm shop and ask if they'd seen / spoken to Kate in the last few days. Surely somebody would remember seeing her and William and the Sun / Daily Mail would have no problem getting a quote from somebody to say she looked happy, healthy, was buying a sourdough loaf, etc.
I would be surprised if kate eats bread

There was a quote from "an eyewitness" in yesterdays Daily Mail.

I honestly think that footage looks nowt like her, though I do accept she may look very thin/different after her op.

All the jokes in this thread aside, that's the issue for me. She's had an operation, clearly isn't "100%" and they shove her in a closet for 6 months until she is. Manipulating stagemanaged photos to maintain the illusion.

I don't like the Royals and I would get rid of them in a heartbeat, however millions do look up to them and their "perfect" Princess, literally no one would have cared if the Mother's day pic was of her looking a bit ****.

Their taxpayer subsidised PR team need firing.

Spot on. They've made this big mess for themselves. Probably not Kate herself, but she's meant to be surrounded by a world class PR team. They've tied themselves in knots over something that really didn't need to be made a thing of.

Unless of course it IS true that they're not even together anymore, or she IS suffering from bulimia, in which just come out and say it cos it ain't going away if so. Royalists can ridicule people's interest all they like, but the whole point of the family's existence is that people are supposed to be interested in them. As most of them are when its more 'positive' stuff ('fairytale' weddings, coronations and what not).
