DUP leader Jeffrey Donaldson

He was campaign manager for Enoch Powell.

He walked out of the UUP delegation negotiating the Good Friday Agreement on the morning of the day the agreement was concluded on 10 April 1998. He supported Brexit, but not the Northern Ireland Protocol because it 'undermined the Good Friday Agreement'.

They are staunch and stupid Tories in every way but name.
Supported Brexit yet it’s accelerated the possibility of a united ireland

I think the child abuser allegations attached to Powell are probably spurious. David Aaranovich investigated this and concluded they pretty much derive from an initial debunked discredited source.

it does appear Powell was gay however. He was married, but it seems he confessed to being in love with a man At University and being ‘cursed’ with attraction to young men though he didn’t act on it. Whenever I read these things I just think it is such a sad shame for anyone to have wasted their one shot at life not being able to just pursue real happiness for them, not to mention probably denying his wife. I also suspect it is a source of bitterness that finds its way out in anger and hatred somehow.

Not that interested in Powell. Who knows what really happened. The article gives an indication of others who Donaldson was involved with. Kincora seems to have been a security service operation.
There was some very strange stuff going on.
Look what was attempted with Colin Wallace because he refused to participate in various operations.
My approach to all politics and politicians is. Doubt everything. Well all life in general really😉
 
He’s always been a hardliner when it comes to politics from the unionist side. I saw him in Parliament last year when he walked past me at an event.

He had a very self assured, arrogant sort of look on his face.
