We use an Aqua Optima filter, which does this:

In the second step, activated carbon absorbs chlorine and filters out organic impurities, including humic acids, pesticides and herbicides. In step three, a special ion exchange resin helps prevent limescale build up and reduces heavy metals. The fourth step has a fine mesh that filters out tiny particles. The Aqua Optima Evolve+ filter reduces limescale, chlorine, heavy metals pesticides, herbicides and lead."
