So much shyte on the pitch

I guess people put rubbish under their seat but it gets blown away. It’s not like there’s any bins outside the concourse

It's shocking. Yet no different to anywhere else.

Just look at the half mile radius of any McDonald's. It's like a 'blast zone' of wrappers.

I mean people can't even bin them whilst sitting in McDonald's. Just think 'feck it' and leave them on the table for a worker to bin. Oh I'm going off on a Maccys rant tangent 😂

I absolutely hate littering. That's football or anywhere. It's not hard to bin something. Oh don't get me started on black dog sh*t bags hanging from trees and bushes. I mean dog owners have done the hard bit by bagging the sh*t. So don't see why you'd then just throw it into a bush. Boils my p*ss.

If you are caught dropping litter then you may be given a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN). Litter can be defined as anything that you drop in these areas from cigarette butts to a rubbish bag. The penalty amount is £150 which must be paid within 14 days from the issue date.
Around here in Lincolnshire they have been handing fines out willy nilly, cigarette butts seem to be flavour of the day.

Willy Nilly must be getting sick of all these fines - serves him right though

Most of the litter seemed to be around the tunnel area so maybe the Swansea team were taking the chance to have a parmo in a bun.

I’m pretty sure the staff at the ground try their best to do as little as possible . Why couldn’t it be picked up at half time ?
Even the service getting a pie takes forever .

We just scored 2 goals and kept a clean sheet we have to find someone to bitch at 😄👍

A kid behind me said "Dad I didn't know we were playing Sunderland, cos there's loads of rubbish on the pitch"🤣

Thought stewards would have paper picked around pitch at half time

This genuinely surprised me.

Half the pitch was covered in rubbish, and it was all still there when the second half kicked off.

Obviously the littering itself isn't the fault of the staff, but still...

Where abouts in Lincs mate? Im in Wragby.

Years ago there was public broadcasts about litter disposal —keep Britain tidy ads— whatever happened to saving the earth and preventing pollution? We did a grand job of training Gen X and those to follow on!

Unfortunately it’s (litter pollution) a global problem as humans are just so lazy and probably careless and think there’s always someone or something to clean their mess up after they had their fun.

Last summer Los Angeles beaches were flooded with trash after the July 4th weekend. Now the city has cops on the beaches to give on the spot fines to people who leave their trash behind.

Lake Tahoe was also trashed by thoughtless visitors which could mean the community starts to put curbs on visitors.
