This is a very hard thread to write

I feel compelled to DM you mate.
Lots I will say to you as I have a fair degree of experience.
It has really upset me and I obviously send you my absolute best.
You will survive and thrive through this.
Much love from Richmond North Yorkshire.

But I’m lying in hospital having been told that I’ve had at least one heart attack in the past couple of weeks. I’ve been having what I thought was panic attacks most of this year, which seemed to come to a head a couple of weeks ago. I had a really bad one but would never have thought it was a heart attack.

I had another one on Friday. I knew something bad was happening because the sharp, intense and burning pain in my chest was like nothing I’ve ever felt before. I decided to take aspirin and Gaviscon and then rest. But I can’t walk for even a minute without feeling breathless.

I called 111 today and saw a doctor and they sent me here. Lewisham Hospital A&E. I’ve just had an injection in my stomach to thin my blood. And then this week it’s an angiogram.

A heart attack at 41. Absolutely mad.
All the best to you, Viv.
Get well soon

Jesus, I’m around your age. Take care and recoupourate

My wife works on James cook in coronary so you may cross her path

Wishing you all the very best Viv.
I can concur about the pain Viv having had one in 2018. Had been to see Nils Lofgren at the Barbican and didn't feel well (indegestion I thought). Next day drove to Nottingham to pick my wife up to drive back to Teesside. During that night the pain was unbearable(arm, chest and jaw) and at 5am phoned 999. Morphine given by paramedics on a blue light to James Cook and they said a blocked posterior artery was the cause. Stent inserted, 5 day stay and blood thinners for a year.
Get well soon Viv.

Really sorry to read this Viv, must be a horrendously worrying time for you and your loved ones.

You're in the best possible place and wishing you a full and speedy recovery.

Swift recovery Viv. Must be devastating, but it's better that they've discovered the problem and I'm sure you'll get the help you need mate.

Scary stuff viv. Like others have said, you're in the right place, do as they tell you and I'm sure they'll get you on track for recovery.

I had a similar event also at 41. It's depressing especially when you finish up in a ward with a load of old farts who've smoked all their lives or drink 17 pints 6 nights a week.
Not sure of your circumstances, but one of my valves spasmed shut. All I can say is take care, keeping taking the medicine and enjoy life.
