The club can also confirm the lowest ticket price rise so far across the Premier League, with a two per cent rise for season tickets and Members’ matchday tickets for the 2024-25 season. This works out at less than £1 per game for season ticket holders.

The rise is a result of significant increase in costs across the club. In the past six years annual operating costs for Anfield have increased by nearly 40 per cent.

During those six seasons, all ticket prices at Anfield have been frozen before a two per cent increase was introduced last season for season tickets and matchday tickets. Junior tickets have now been frozen at Anfield for 10 consecutive seasons.

The 2024-25 season ticket renewal period will be from April 10 to May 27. Further details will be sent to season ticket holders in due course.

2 x 2% rises after 6 seasons of being frozen! Kid's tickets have been frozen for 10 years.

It does highlight how the PL works in that clubs that are turning over hundreds of millions feel the need to rinse their fans for as much as they can get away with when they don't really need to.

Still, so long as players wages and agents fees are off the scale, eh?
