It says Jedi was online last night, so he's here just not posting for whatever reason.

I'm hoping the summer transfer window will see the much needed return of Newy.
 
Jedi was a bit touchy he would start posts about people being nasty on here despite the fact he himself resorted to name calling when someone didnt agree with something he posted.

I don't get why people get upset over a difference of opinion, particularly political. There were one or two comments that were maybe OTT, but it's people's personal opinion on a celebrity in the middle of a PR crisis, and of course in the end those people were right something was being hidden. We all have different opinions, seeking an echo chamber might short term seem like a mental health win......but ultimately it's not very enriching in life or reflective of the real world.

It would be unbelievably dull if we didn't disagree on things. Disagreements are a way to learn, too many take having a different opinion personally which is where the tetchiness begins unfortunately. I'm always up for a discussion with people I have differing opinions with, as long as it's kept civil and honest.

There were some negative sentiments after her cancer video that suggested a few posts on this MFC board were the reason she had had to disclose her illness. :rolleyes:

I'm not sure if Norm fell into that camp though.

Also when Exiled_In_Herford was gonna 'meet' someone in the McDonald's near the underpass before the match. Genuinely didn't seem to want a fight, but then didn't turn up anyway.
 
Message boards are weird. Sometimes it's hard not to take something personally and it affecting your mental wiring but you've got to take everything with a pinch of salt and have be fairly thick skinned about things and leave it on the msg board so to speak!
 
Only one of the posters in the thread title is banned/on the naughty step.

There is a character trait that they all would seem to have in common though.
Not necessarily a bad one btw.
