* The Unofficial "Official" Boro v Leeds United [04/24] Match Day Thread *

Azaz, Latte Lath and Jones look threatening.

Howson doing ok.

O’Brien and Dijksteel obvious weak links tonight for me.

I’m Clarkes biggest fan as you can see from previous comments but not his best night tonight.
To be fair VDB had made some mistakes as has howson. Again it's to do with so many players missing.

Even Dieng is to blame for Bamfords goal.

You could easily pick on most of our defensive unit from the midfield back.

Only just opened this thread at half time so have missed what went before. Is it me or did I spot Carrick having a proper go at Woody when one of their goals went in?

Well it was entertaining. Both teams sloppy to concede possession and goals.

They look more threatening than us, but only ahead through a blatantly offside goal.

You think so roofie.

Silvera and Dijksteel have been a mixed bag. Silvera more good than bad. Dijksteel made a couple of big errors but we have to remember Leeds are excellent going forward and Dijksteel hadn't played much football before tonight.

It's a cobbled together side at the back and that has shown.
Silvera has been lightweight in recent games and runs himself into dead ends. Djiksteel has no excuse - he's been in the game far too long to make stupid errors like that. We can't blame everyone else in the team for two sloppy goals. Clark needs to look where the ball is and connect brain to feet.

Definitely offside for their 3rd
Would like to see it again - i was bang in line with it and I thought he was just on when ball was played. Leeds first looked offside in the build up to the penalty
Edit it was a F***ing mile off 😭 fuming now 🤬

They’ve just shown it on sky sports at half time.. well offside

I hope we are well in the officials ears in the second half after costing us a goal with such a poor mistake there

Dieng is too blame for the second goal, no one else really. Great ball for Bamford and difficult for a defender to do much about it. So yes we can blame someone other than Clarke mate.

Silvera has had a decent shot that requires a decent save and was instrumental in one of our good attacks.

Howson had lost the ball twice in the midfield that could have resulted in goals.

Defensively to a man we have been poor, barring no one.
