Any recommendations things to avoid. Is it worth getting a base unit. Not for me but for an older gentleman so needs to be fairly simple
Why do you want non-cloud especially?Any recommendations things to avoid. Is it worth getting a base unit. Not for me but for an older gentleman so needs to be fairly simple
Is the camera hd
I am assuming cheaper than a subscriptionWhy do you want non-cloud especially?
The Eufy has the SD card in the chime/plug in unit so they would just need to take that after your car keys etcThe concern with non-cloud is someone could just bash it off before they break into your house couldn’t they?
You store the data locally but it can be anywhere in your house I think. You can also have them upload to cloud storage. The concern with non-cloud is someone could just bash it off before they break into your house couldn’t they?
Or stick a piece of chewing gum on it.The concern with non-cloud is someone could just bash it off before they break into your house couldn’t they?
Well by then they're in view surely...if they're hiding their face, gum wouldn't be neededOr stick a piece of chewing gum on it.
Its recorded to an SD card installed on a base inside your home, not on the actual device itself! The concern with non-cloud is someone could just bash it off before they break into your house couldn’t they?
Fair enough. Its recorded to an SD card installed on a base inside your home, not on the actual device itself!
Fair enough.
As above I actually doubt video doorbells alone are much of a deterrent to robbers.
But - what IS the point of video doorbells exactly?
I don’t like the delay. So you can talk to someone at the door from your sofa without having to move.
