Teesside Together - Tickets for next home games

MFC have announced ticket details for the first two games.

There is a slight price reduction for the NW and SW corners from previous recent seasons. I am not sure if any other prices have changed.

Shocking. Teesside Together my F***ing ****. They were a disgrace last season and they’re a disgrace now

The walk up prices are shocking. It's the 'under 18' part that gets me. Why is it the same price for a 6 or 7 year old as it would be for a 17 year old. We are one of the only clubs that do this. Yes there is the GRFZ but even in there a parent and one child costs £40. It's still probably more than most clubs would charge for the equivalent and that's in our discounted section of the ground.

£30 average for a ticket for an area that's been decimated by the closure of industry and also coming out of a pandemic where people have lost jobs or had reductions in household incomes due to furlough payments doesn't strike me as 'together'.

Where are the special offers to get kids back involved in professional football for example?

£40 is just too much for a young child and adult, totally agree.

They used to do a £33 deal.
Boro are they same a the vast majority of clubs and quite clearly not learned anything from having empty stadiums for well over a year. Fans should not be charged the prices clubs charge.
They are that far from reality it's laughable.
£10-£15 in reality is all an adult should pay to watch any football match and around £5 for a child. FANS FORUMS NEED TO DO MORE TO PUSH THE PRICING ISSUE.
But aslong as the players still get there thousands a week stuff the fans. That's been the attitude for to long

What's the deal with the three priority points and 1 ticket per Boro reference?
Honestly, you would of thought clubs would of learned a big lesson from THIS pandemic .
Especially with the regions/countries economic state. WHY ARE FOOTBALL CLUDS SO DETACHED FROM REALITY.
COME ON MR GIBSON TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY AND LOOK AFTER THE FANS.
Alot of people are financially struggling and unhappy.
Football should help play its part as it can give people a big lift.

“Please note there is a £1 booking fee per ticket on all online and telephone purchases”

Why £1 booking fee per ticket. It should be £1 per purchase. They charge that because they can. No fairness in that. 😡

Totally agree but while you still have the likes of Jack Grealish and others being bought for £100m and on circa £350k a week wages then all football clubs will try to eek out income from wherever it can. I'm all for £10-15 maximum tickets but that is also what the likes of the conference clubs charge for their prices and would mean we could only afford similar players and to play at that level.

I'm not defending the prices but the reality of player wages are bleeding clubs dry. A wage cap is needed but the world football bodies won't agree on one and none of them will do it independently.

My season ticket in the NW upper cost me £420 or £18 per game.

Someone buying a ticket in the same block today would pay £530 or £23 per game.

A matchday walk up ticket costs £29.

Match tickets are too high which ever option you choose, not just at the Boro but everywhere.

Perhaps this is something the Supporters Forum should be putting pressure on the club about?

Why should there be a charge at all. You reduce labour costs by booking online?

Because automated systems have to be managed/operated - its the same as buying tickets for anything, concerts, galleries, cinemas. There has to be a fee or why would the companies provide the service, you wouldn't go to work for free?

Now the argument about how much all these companies charge is very valid because they are way over the top, usually a booking fee per ticket can be accompanied by a service fee and if a ticket is being posted out extortionate mailing costs - that's the issue that needs addressing.

It's sky that found the the SILLY wages not ticket revenue.
Football is just not in touch with the real world, average at best players earn mega money and we have a few of them.

Surely that's part of the high cost of the ticket price?

I'm not asked to pay an extra quid when I shop at Tesco, why when I shop with the Boro

Your argument about asking them to work for nothing is b***ks.
