£3,375 a month on takeaway food

It’s so much it almost sounds unbelievable, like it’s been made up, oh wait there!!!

Will the public let him get away with breaking the rules about payments again?

Baroness Warsi would be my choice as the next leader of the corrupt Tory party.

I don’t know how he manages to get through that volume of take away but I wouldn’t mind giving it a go...
Then again, I don’t have a rich Tory donor chum to pay for/provide it all for me.

Still, free school dinners for kids in poverty eh? Sod that....

Actually I’ve now read the story and it seems more believable. I think it was the use of the word “takeaway”that threw me. It would appear that Carrie doesn’t cook and essentially they are getting pretty much every meal delivered to them. The figure of 27k therefore makes more sense!

Apparently for starters he has rare Sumatran Rhino blood Black pudding with white truffle shavings (foraged by his mate Davey C’s pig)

For his main he has a Swan burger with Fois Gras mayonnaise and chips triple fried in gold leaf.

For pudding he eats a chocolate dipped corgi with pearl ice cream studded with candied diamonds.

But letting the country pay for a few spam fritters and some tins of beans for kids living in poverty despite their parents working......sod that.

I saw it. I do not agree with a lot of what she said on the show. However she had a go at the right wing of the party. A more moderate leader of the party would be a benefit for the country. Until the next election.
SHe said Hancock was doing his best, the others said are you excusing his incompetence.

SHe didn't reply

It was the way she said it. Plus the look in her eyes. She is not going to appear on a TV show and speak words like that out loud. Against a minister from her own party. She just inferred it.

No but we're expecting him to at least pay for his own family's food, not accept £800 odd worth of food EVERY WEEK from Tory Party 'friends', who always want something in return. If this was someone unemployed getting us to spend that on food for them and their children, I somehow think your tone would be different.
