🤝 BORO CLOSE TO COSGROVE

Just shows how crap footy coverage is outside of the PL.. TBH outside the big 6...

Birmingham head coach Aitor Karanka admitted the club are close to the £2m signing of Aberdeen striker Sam Cosgrove after their 1-1 draw against Coventry at St Andrew’s.
Cosgrove, 24, watched the landlords against tenants contest as his prospective employers ended a run of six successive home defeats after agreeing terms and undergoing a medical.
Karanka said: “The club is working on it and hopefully we can finish it as soon as possible tomorrow or Monday. He is big, powerful, has something sometimes we are missing – that power to hold the ball, to go into the space, to head the ball at corners."
Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes, meanwhile, says he will now step up his search to sign a new striker before Monday's deadline.

Hasn't he just described Juke with this statement....baffling ?

He's an ex CB. I belive he was still playing CB until he later teenage years.

I've read he ranges from 'unplayable' to 'not even a footballer' in the space of 20mins😂. I can only go by Aberdeen fans but they say at 2mil it's 'start the car' as he's worth half that.

You'd have to say 2mil is a big outlay in the current climate. Also that's what Bristol City want for their forward (who would come on bigger wages).

he's off to Birmingham... it's just more shoddy reporting with a headline that the writer mistakes AK as still being the Boro boss...

Yeah, I think Juke is a very similar - old school striker - with a decent amount to offer teams in this league, if he gets good service. & I've read the Aberdeen fans thoughts on his, £2m seems a whole lot of money for a player that may not even be a footballer by many reports.
