I couldn't let this sad anniversary pass without a nod to our fantastic ex manger Neil Warnock.

Neil didn't get any money to spend and relied on loans and free signings. We dilly dallied when the striker he really wanted Keiffer Moore became available. Brought Watmore, Jones, Crooks Coburn into the fold from nowhere...Thank-You Neil 👍

Sacked with Boro 14th in the table with 22 points from 17 games...

At the moment we are 20th in the league with only 21 points from 19 games !!!!

So that's turned out well then hasn't it ?

The team that played his last game at West Brom was decimated by injury and he had been unable to play his best defenders for a few weeks.

Neil's team managed a 1-1 draw away to West Brom...kids on the bench.

Nobby - Neil Warnock did a decent job for us, but it always felt a short term appointment, because of his age. Neil himself doesn't seem to fancy another full time appointment.

Are you going to the Town Hall to see him and ask a question?

He didn't have a chance to do anything, had to rely on Bamba and Peltier who actually did a great job. I haven't got a ticket yet but would like to 👍

I remember dismissing whispers that he was going on the way out.. then the whispers and background chatter becoming more and more worrying until the final confirmation when I sat in the car and the first thing on the radio was that he was gone.

I remember shouting ‘We love you Neil’ as he got off the coach before the game, I hope he heard me and that it touched him in some small way.
