Great opportunity for a strong finish especially at Home.
Our home form is poor with one win from last Six.
But hoping 19 points from 24 here UTB
 
Those next 8 matches look a lot more favourable than the last 6 to be fair.

Last 6 home matches

Ipswich - L
Hull - L
WBA - W
Coventry - L
Rotherham - D
Sunderland - D

They were a tough set of fixtures with 5/6 of them being above us in the league. Obviously we should be beating Rotherham,

Only 3 out of the last 8 home games are above us in the league. You've got to say from that simple metric that you would want 5 wins minimum from the last 8 home games. Or 15-18 points.
 
I think there could be a slight misconception that we are much better away from home than away. Although right now we lie 15th in the home standings and 6th in the away standings, I'm not sure it tells the whole story. Our first half away fixtures were much weaker opponents than our home fixtures and that is now reversed.

Our remaining home fixtures look very winnable from here till the end of the season but the away fixtures look much tougher, Remaining away matches:

Preston
Leicester
Stoke
QPR
Birmingham
Southampton
Hull
Ipswich
Cardiff

By the end of the season I think our home form could match our away form. We will do well to get 10 points from those 9 away games in my opinion.

Either way we are not going to be troubling the play offs this season.
Those away matches are very tough - lot tougher than our recent home matches.
 
So all of a sudden we are going to put a consistent run together. something we haven't managed to do for most of the season.

We have been average all season, our last 10 league games, won 4.. lost 4... drawn.. 2. -1 goal difference

We are average in the form guide , sitting 11th, average in the league sitting 12th.

We will finish around where we are now between 8th - 12th..

You could say that the past is irrelevant. It is what we do NOW that matters.
Form is Temporary anyway.
We have reasons for our poor form if we do look back.
No person can predict our future.
We could win our next /last 17 Games.
We could lose them all too...
Still nice to be around the Mix though

How we ended up losing that Hull game is beyond me.

You’ll get abuse for stating this!
 
We have never really recovered from losing Chuba. Lost a couple of dozen goals and the focal point up front.
Last year under Carrick we rarely changed the team. This year every line up is different.
We have put one run together so can do it again.
I think having a focal point in coburn helped us a lot and I think the remainder of the season could depend on his fitness.

Yep!!!! like I said we will finish between 8th and 12th. we are an average team...
