I couldn't care less if Boro, Donny or Milton Keynes became a city. Makes no difference to me.

I have lived in Boro for 25 years along with MK and now Doncaster for 20 years so I know about dumps in all three places.

I have an open mind that those areas also have places of note and places of history. You are obviously so narrow minded that you are obviously getting very red faced and foaming at the mouth about it.

I have nothing more to say on the subject as I will not argue with someone who is as bitter as you.

Why does Middlesbrough deserve city status though? It’s a bit of a **** hole, the transport links haven’t been upgraded in 30 years, the town centre is forgotten…seriously it’s not what you’d call a city. Regardless of other cities being smaller.

Have you been to Port Stanley. The Fisherman's huts at South Gare are in better nick.
