We literally had 12 fit senior players today… The 11 on the pitch plus a reserve left back on the bench. I’ve never known an injury list like it

I'd make it 14.
Jamie Jones and Coulson are senior players too.
Not that having a 3rd choice left back and keeper is much good for changing the game.

It's an awful injury list, and the international tournaments have come at just the wrong time.
 
Don't know how far away those out are from returning, but we must surely be looking at some short term signings to help us out.

Peltier, Bamba type signings who can come in on the cheap, won't let you down and allow us to give a few lads a break if needed.

It doesn't fit "the model" and I'm sure we'll be looking at players with an eye on the longer term anyway too, but it's getting a bit desperate.

2 or 3 experienced steady pros in till the end of the season would make a world of difference right now. If we can find them. Managed to do it in the past.

Puts things in perspective.

I hate getting done like we did today second half but the lads have given everything and on the most have been great.
 
Only a question of time before the likes of Howson and others break down not just because of their age but also the stress of playing at 70 percent fit.
