9 subs on the bench in the Championship from next season.

Christ. Will they ever stop the increases? Its gonna get to a point where its like the world cup and everyone on the playing staff can come on.

Is it still 5 subs across 3 separate windows?

Can't wait for 9 subs being made 1 at a time after a team goes 1 nil up to waste time. Dreadful idea. They need to get a grip on this "game managment"
 
7 is too many. No need for more than 5.
It just means teams need to hang onto more fringe players instead of letting them go out on load and get playing time

That's assuming none of those are loaned out, everyone is fit and no one is suspended
 
Those on ‘win’ bonuses will be happy or if your contract states first team squad appearances. Contracts will need to get tighter!

I've always thought a keeper should be able to replace another keeper - at any time - & not count as one of the number of subs.. effectively 5 outfield subs +keeper..

I do think - 9 subs - will benefit the wealthier clubs more & skew the league again..
 
We often had too many first team players to make the bench last season, even excluding Muniz and the loan limit situation, and our squad was probably about average size in the Championship.
