9am Kit Release!!

Because this thread has, imo unfairly, had such a negative view I’m just going to say again that, sponsor aside, I like it (just in the interest of balance n’that like).

I also refer to my previous comment on my evident lack of a sense of style etc.
The sponsor completely ruins it! The tagline is mandatory now.. but the company name and the six dots make it look far too busy!

The response on this forum, on Facebook , Twitter, in my group chats, people in my office, people I've spoken to today has been overwhelmingly negative.

I just don't understand how it is possible to get this so wrong, this is undoubtedly the worst shirt we've had since that absolutley hideous home shirt in the Premier League. Someone should have been sacked for that one, if I remember rightly the away one sold very well that season and there was a lot of discounted home shirt stock at the end of that season. It was just awful.

They need to look at getting fans on board, maybe the fans committee meetings or something with some design concepts. I get that it's not easy to make one everyone loves, but it's not difficult to make a shirt that the majority like or don't have strong feelings against.

It's costing the club money, I've seen a couple of people saying they'll get one anyway but nobody I've actually spoken to intends on getting one. They're waiting for the away shirt reveal and might not buy one at all if that's awful.

That's before we get to the morally and aesthetically disgusting shirt sponsor.

It's better than the Adidas one from 2017/18.

Though they're similar.

People do love a good moan, I normally do too. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it.

There will be a new one out next year.

I think it’s fine and we’ve had a lot worse in the past.

Probably the 38th time I've said this today on one platform or another, but the shirt is absolutely fine, it actually looks really smart. It is the sponsor that completely and utterly ruins it.

Got a feeling the away kit might have 32Red on it.

Player safety first? **** off! Parasitic organisations preying on the weak willed and desperate.

Mind you, I Like the socks.

Thoughts on the kit: glad it's the white band, doesn't look like Errea have improved production value in the last fifteen years. The collar looks flimsy, a really shoddy attempt at trying to go for a Serie A-style kit feel.

I feel like that particular shade of red is really tacky on modern kits due to the materials used to make them, the darker shade of red on the last Hummel kits looked far more impressive.

The sponsor is horrendous. Not mentioning the obvious (lack of) ethics surrounding a betting company sponsor during a cost of living crisis and record highs of gambling addiction, it just doesn't look right on the white band and the kit suffers as a result.

My verdict: No wonder Rav looks so miserable with that kit on. More Branco than Branca.

Im so sick of the club not listening to their customers and stakeholders. It is absolutely crap, it is one of the few things fans look forward to whether you buy it or not, along with fixture list announcement, deadline day etc. We consistently get it wrong. An opportunity to get something so right and to have step changes in sales but oh no, lets just design something totally and utterly turd and ignore all the feedback and thoughts from their fans.

I'll concur with some of the posters above, I actually like the shirt (and the kit), it's the sponsor, and the size of it that ruins it. The kids kit looks much better as the sponsor doesn't take over the band. The important thing for me is my 11 year old likes it and wants to be seen out in it so I've pre-ordered it for him. I won't be buying one as I'm not one who generally does as I'm not quite in the right shape for one (last one I bought was the skin tight white and maroon away shirt in 2004/05, it's been a slippery slope since then 😄).

In terms of quality of the shirts, we've just come back from holiday where I got talking to a QPR fan who had a few different versions of their kit in, made by Errea and he said the quality of them was excellent so here's hoping we get the same quality.

Agreed.

It’s so frustrating people in their bedroom on Photoshop have produced far superior shirts to what so called professionals have deliveredBF216DEF-BF7E-4929-BFBD-2FE87A973021.jpeg

As many others have said, the neckline is horrendous and on initial inspection it looks like they've reverted back to those iron-on felt badges. But what else can you expect when you hook up with a third rate kit manufacturer.
