A minutes applause for Shaun Morgan next home game.

Could I post this message below on behalf of my brother Andy. I think some of you guys knew Shaun. Thank you.

As some of you guys are aware I lost my brother in law Shaun Morgan suddenly on the 7th October.

Shaun ran the Retro Bar in Costa Teguise for nearly 4 years and being a Boro themed bar he showed all Boro games and loved everything Boro!.

We are asking if you could spread the word and ask if fans could have a minutes applause for Shaun on 54th minute at Tuesday nights home game please.

Shauns friends over in Lanzarote will be at Shauns bar watching the match on Tuesday night so it would be nice for them to see the Boro fans remembering Shaun!

Thankyou so much for reading.

Admin could you please pin this to top of page until Tuesday if possible.

Did you see that I mentioned Shaun in the last edition of Fly Me To The Moon - a friend of Shaun's got in touch and I put his name at the bottom of the editorial page as a dedication.

Andy has expressed his thanks and gratitude for the dedication in FMTTM and a copy has been sent to Costa Tequise, where Shaun ran his pub.

Andy would have posted himself but is waiting for approval from admin for his account. He has kindly asked if this could be done if possible. His tag is Woodhouse Smoggie. Many thanks.

I’m here now in Costa Teguise for Shaun’s remembrance/Memorial Day. We’re having a do for him at his bar to coincide with Bristol game. I’ll show this to Shaun’s partner Heidi and the rest of his friends over here and they’ll be very taken back by it

Thankyou Rob for the mention in FMTTM and to all of you who remember Shaun fondly.

Unfortunately I can't be there tonight as working but friends and family will be watching at home and overseas so appreciate everyone's wish to clap.

Very sorry for your loss. Shaun obviously meant a great deal to so many Boro fans - especially those finding a home from home in his bar in Costa Teguise. Very best wishes.

I applauded on the 54th min for Shaun. I didn't know him but I think he would have been pleased with that performance and result. RIP Shaun.

Going back to the debate it wasnt noticable but good on you for doing it.

Did the terry venables applause have an impact or are fans just not buying into these personal requests anymore? (It wasnt the 1st and wont be the last not to get one). None of the other people I attended the game with were aware - not everyone comes on here who attends games.

Im with the one rememberance a season suggestion for all boro fans who have lost their lives like what we got at the opening game but with messages and images for those who wish to have them displayed on the big screen

Just wanted to thank those who took the time to applaud for Shaun. Maybe I didn't spread the word far enough as I heard from someone there that there wasn't hardly any clapping.

Anyway for those who want to join us we will be having a day to remember Shaun in Guisborough at some point (probably new year now) and Shauns son and daughter will be there and it would be nice for those who met Shaun to come join us and talk about him to the family.

I will post on here when a date is confirmed.
