Is this still closed does anybody know, the last night match, the traffic was carnage being diverted through the town centre???

It's the on-slip heading west which is fully closed.
The off-slip heading east is open with a lane closed according to the Middlesbrough Council website

Also they have updated the end date for the road works to mid February 2024 now so my earlier post is incorrect

Was thinking the same thing. Can only assume the work is planned in and parts of the structure are condemned therefore can't be driven on.
Its a dream getting out after the game mind onto the eastbound slip road. Drove straight up Wilson Street past the Premier Inn on Saturday and got straight out. Wasn;t a single car waiting to get out that way.

I park at the old Odeon site and this closure is causing long delays. Anyone got other suggestions for parking spot with easy access to A66/A19?

No traffic issue tonight, straight through
Slip road still closed causing major queues where people try to join further on at Sainsbury's lights . Took an hour to get to Ingleby last week , why is this taking so long ? Work going on where the old royal exchange pub was , where the new container village is going to be in exchange square so maybe that is the reason

We parked in the Zetland last night (free after 6). Bit further to walk, but quick getaway onto A66. Took about an hour to drive home, 50 miles away.

Just head back over and join the A66 at the Riverside turn off. We go that route and usually only a short queue to join the A66.
That’s what I do every home match. I park at Frances Street, and get back onto the A66 at the Riverside junction, takes less than 5 minutes and I’m away.
