Aaron Ramsey

Just been called up to the U20 WC squad. Might give a bit of hope to us that it's not too long term an injury
I would love you to be right but that competition doesn't start until 20th May and would give him another nine days recovery time.

Fingers crossed, we have certainly missed his creativity.

The first leg of our match is the 14th, the second the 17th, the potential final is the 27th.

If he's fit enough to play for England U20s in that period, he'd be fit enough to play for Middlesbrough.

I think it's more likely that they've called him up as a "just in case he gets fits", but I'm still taking it as a positive sign.

It says on the U20 squad list he will join following conclusion of EFL play offs, he had his own Asterisk an all

I was going to reply with your last line of that post but agree, it is a positive sign that he's not far away.

I have just seen Marco Delvecchio outside Littlewoods.......Ah sorry, wrong year.
I asked Robbo about Delvecchio at one of those nights where he did a question and answer section (Dormans club I think). Robbo told me that himself and Keith Lamb met Delvecchio and his representatives in a restaurant in Rome and thrashed out a deal and verbally agreed on pretty much everything. The next morning as they were heading back to the airport Keith Lamb received a call saying everything was off and Delvecchio was staying put.
