Absoutly buzzing

Started off below par, conceded from a free kick, which IMHO want a free kick, we stuttered for the next 5 minutes then just grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck, a wonder goal from MOTM Watmore & Fletcher penalty put us infront, we could have gone in at HT 4 goals up

Second half we carried on on the front foot then sort of ran out of steam with Huddersfield pushing us back & creating their own chances, the ref made another howler sending off McNair, which should be overturned, then on it was like attack & defence, we put bodies in the way, Bettineli made a couple of crucial save & lady luck played her part, but what a great result, 3 points behind Bournemouth & still a long way to go

C'mon Boro!

Its good to see us come back from behind. We played well in patches but we were fortunate not to concede one late on when they put us under a lot of pressure. Hopefully this can settle us and we can go on and pick up more points.

Were we lucky or was their finishing just a bit rubbish, I dunno.

You're right erimmus in parts we were very good. In other parts not so much. We missed Fry again tonight at the back. I think he is back on Saturday, let's hope so.

Buzzing is sadly not how I feel right now. It was plain to see that scraping a win against the divisions poorest form team was important but the failings were still exposed and I feel its going to be an anti climatic end to the season coming up.

Build for next season. New keeper, new striker and probably a new holding midfielder required to turn us into credible promotion contenders.

Cup half full, can't fault that. I had a really enjoyable evening, hell of a game in bits and well worth a tenner
Better than last season. Looking forward to next season in this division, I think we're safe

Enjoyed the result and the performance in parts.
We were back to our fragile worst in that first 10 minutes (memories of the post covid run in).
Not sure my heart could take another 15 matches like that to catch a play-off berth.

Can't help feeling that Watford, Bournemouth, Norwich and the rest have far more in the tank than us.

I thought it was a great result after a bad run and despite, once again, some poor and inconsistent refereeing.

I think we would have been comfortable but for McNair being sent off for a hard but fair tackle.

We needed to grind out a win and we did it.

I‘m cup half full as well - how can you be anything else after this last 12 months of Covid problems? The Boro being a bit up and down is the least of our problems.

I think my only criticism is that as we looked like conceding and were hanging on more and more, we needed fresh legs sooner than we made them, allowing them momentum and changing our mentality to a one of a siege thereby adding to pressure. The cavalry was a little late for me, but it worked nonetheless.

Over all, we thankfully hung on and huge credit to the 10 at the end. Well done everyone.

Maybe not a problem but a major role in the morale of many Teessiders. Never underestimate how big a part a successful football team can bring to it’s community.

Mixed feelings.

Once we settled down and took control we looked superb but then managed to survive by the skin of out teeth.

Very slow out of the blocks again.

Great result. Really needed 3 points.

Onwards and upwards.

I was coming from the fact we've lost 4 out of the last 5, started off badly, conceded & then went at em, a quality strike & won the game, I appreciate we could have conceded late on, on more than one occasion but we didn't, we seen it through & deserved the points, gerrrrrrrrrriiiiiii there

A wins a win and even if it wasn’t PSG stuff , it’s 3 points and the goal was worth the admission money alone . This is where NWs shrewd motivation can start . We’ve buried that abysmal spell going back to Blackburn and now we’ll see who wants to be part of next season with the run in .

Yes and some of the new players like Fisher and Kebano bedding in, players like Fletcher and Hall coming back from injury and Watmore and Howson getting back to form. There was plenty to enjoy tonight, despite the ref.

I think bbcteessport is posting it on Twitter.. sometime
Reason I ask is I’ve been worried about NWs body language of late and feared he’s thought “ well if they’re not bothered why should I “ hence want to see if he looks lifted and smiley again

When is Tav available, Fry too. We could even overturn the red card, now that will cap the win

Before the losing streak we were regularly going a goal behind before turning it around. It’s not a great platform. I’ll take the win but the fragility starting games is obvious.
