... we have a brexit benefit:

So there you have it: a Chinese firm and an Indian firm are selling more electric cars. It's almost comical how desperate the brexit army is getting trying to pretend there are benefits!

Jaguar are conveting castle bromwhich into an ev plant with an investment of a billion pounds. They still aint british, owned by tata, but very few international companies can claim to be from a single country.

I think the plans are to build cars built on the MLA platform which would include the range rover, sport and discoverry. All planned as hybrids I believe.

In any event the headline is misleading, but will continue Jaguars history with castle bromwhich

And that is related to Brexit how?

Only in that is the entire point of this thread.

Besides it's probably b***ks anyway.

Well if you would like to let me know the rules about what we can and can't post, that would be splendid. And it isnt b***ks, it was reported last week in Autocar. Want a link so you can apologise?

Not sure what your problem is, but we can't talk about that here, we would have to start a new thread, wouldn't we?

Absolutely terrible news isn't it, a company supporting 000's of jobs directly in the area and 10' of 000's in the supply chain all over the world. Plus, it's outrageous they should be doing so by investing in EVs, those evil machines

The bloke doesn't know his arśê from his elbow and clearly can't nail his colours to the mast with any conviction

For clarity, I voted remain and NOT Tory

Post what you like.

b***ks or not it doesn't alter the fact that the Express story is nothing to do with being a benefit of brexit. A desperate Brexit rag has scoured industry sites to find something it can spin as positive to try to keep the con going.

And I agreed that the headline was misleading. I didn't read the article, I don't want to get my eyes dirty so I can't comment on the contents of it.

This thread or the ten others from the last few weeks? 🤣
Interesting how my brexiteer stalkers have all jumped on the thread and only one has tried to argue the point. By pointing out the Indian company makes cars here (but thanking acknowledgingits nothing to do with brexit). At least he's done better than the rest who, again, prove my point that brexit is a failure by only being able to shoot the messenger and not the message.

At least you all admit it now. You should get jobs at the express 🤣

To be honest the article has nothing to do with brexit, pro or con. It's a dishonest headline, that much is true.
You're absolutely right.

That's my point really. We are at the level where we now have to pretend their are brexit benefits. No one is trying to find a benefit anymore so they have to lie and mislead
