Advice please - Days out

Hi Guys,
My daughter is going to be spending a few days in a holiday cottage near to Richmond. She is looking for a relaxing break, but wants a few good days out.

It is a long time since I lived in the area, I would spend time in Stokesley, Yarm and Hutton Rudby where I used to live.

Do you have any good suggestions, that I can give to her.

What age and are there young children?
 
Brimham Rocks
Whitescar caves
Gunnerside walk up past the old mines, nice pub in the town or in reeth for a bite to eat
Ribblehead viaduct walk to whernside
Richmond to Easby Abbey and back

They are 28 and 32 and have no kids. They will have a boot full of booze, hit the nearest bar and get smashed for a few days without mum and dad looking over their shoulder. All our suggestions for walking and museums are right out of the window. ;) 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

LoL, far from it. There was another discussion about clean living yougsters, and they both fit the bill.

Jess is a chiropractor who likes to teach me how to live a cleaner life. Her other half is a keen hiker, although Jess would need to see a cafe at some point during the walk.

Many thanks for the suggestions, I am meeting her this weekend and will let her know the options.

I’m glad you took that in the context it was meant. I think if they follow the advice given above they will both have a wonderful time. 👍

If only to be that age again.
