Ajax Sales

Just read that Ajax have agreed to sell Mohammed Kudus to West Ham for 38M plus add ons. Looking at transfer market, they have made a hell of a lot of money from sales in the last 4 or 5 years (mainly to English clubs).
They must be second only to Benfica for big money sales, although Brighton probably will be running them both close.

PS. Wonder whether Chuba will be joining this distinguished list in a year or two. If so, it'll be certainly for a lot more than we got for him!

Biggest club in Netherlands by a mile but 5 or 6 top European leagues ahead of them. Makes their UCL semi a few years back even more impressive

Academy doesn't seem to be the talent machine it once was though but they've had loads of backroom changes over the last couple of seasons

Chuba is a diiferent age, the players they are selling are 4 to 5 years younger. I do admit they are getting very good prices lately. In history - the Dutch are notoriously good traders and they are possibly continuing this at Ajax.

Clubs who dominate leagues or leagues with 2 or 3 teams will always be able to sell their players for far more than they are actually worth because
they just look better playing against inferior opposition every week

Top dutch teams, the OF in scotland as an example, just look at celtic getting 25 million for a player who scored 10 goals a season in the SPL

Of course, the exceptions always prove the rule and the odd one is actually worth the outlay

How much did Man Utd play for Van de Beek?, every time i've seen him play he looks champo level

The dutch league is a very difficult league to assess a players value, especially strikers as we all know, Alaves looked better than ronaldo
in the 2 season he was at Heerenveen, its a **** weak league with a good technical philosophy but dogshit at everything else

I doubt they will get the same percentage of profit as we did though 😏
