Can't see that happening, not with our record with injuries this season. We've got an inexperienced bench as it is.

The model is working but cheap sell high

Was a bit of a weird signing, almost felt like a last minute panic signing as if they weren't convinced about Engel once they had a proper look at him. Wouldn't be surprised if Bangura isn't too happy sitting on the bench though, seeing as he was. Captain and star player for his previous club. Could see him wanting to move on in summer if he doesn't get more game time though the season.

So that’s Paddy, Bangura, McGree, sold even before we get into 2024. I can’t see us coming up with funds for Greenwood given his performances.

Howson back for another season— I seriously doubt it. Not too sure about Barlaser’s contract but he hasn’t stood out to deserve a new contract either. Lots of other players on the bubble, Josh Coburn maybe one of those who could be moved on. Then there’s our major success story Hayden — the Crown jewels— if there’s a big enough offer ready he’ll be off.

McGree is the only one that would be hard for us to replace.

We are missing him massively, him and Hackney are our two best players for me.

Signing him after Engel was bizarre.

Seems a decent enough player, but we spent over £1m on a player that's here as back up and probably won't start except for injury or a colossal loss in form from Engel.

I expect he'll be starting on Tuesday, but I'm not sure this is what he was expecting when he signed.

Not that bizarre, we don't have another left back considering that Coulson proved he's not really a back up option.
