All Behind the Team Tonight

I hadn't realised how disgruntled Sheffield Wed fans are and that they aim to have a protest tonight by throwing tennis balls onto the pitch. Sheffield Wednesday FC has released a statement (see below) regarding fan's behaviour.

2-1 to Sheff Wed I am afraid. We are awful defensively. Probably 2-0 after 30 minutes we will dominate the last hour and have 10 chances and only take 1. Hopefully I am completely wrong.

I went to bring the blue bin in this morning and have to go through the garage to do so. On returning with the bin I stood in a lump of dog sh1t (my son's dog had been in the garage with me on Saturday) and it squashed into the sole of my boots.

They usually say sh1t for luck, I hope it's not the start to a really bad day.

Boro to win 2-1.
Just put a fiver on 2-1 win because of your sh1tty boot

One thing I don't get at the moment is when we go behind the fans seem to give up. The songs about us being sh*t start and it becomes a joke. No idea when this started but it annoys me. We should get more behind the team not start taking the Mick.

Another new username looking for a rise. I wonder what name you normally post under? 🤣 🤣 🤣

Had a look at the Wednesday board and noticed a few posters complaining about players being shoehorned into their non natural positions.

Who would of thought the two bottom teams try the same stupid thing!

From the Sheff Examiner...

Sheffield Wednesday's barren start to the season continued last weekend with a sobering defeat at home to Ipswich Town. The Owls only fell short of the Tractor Boys by two points last term as each toasted promotion from League One.

And despite the slender margin of their latest defeat, at times there was a clear chasm between the sides. Wednesday did not even register a shot on target all game and boos greeted the final whistle. Tuesday night sees Middlesbrough - the only team below Xisco Munoz's side in the table - visit S6 for what looks like a mammoth game, even at this early juncture.

So 0 shots on target plus big chasm between the sides , means we will concede first yet again

I'm in the mardy bum camp again tonight as I just can't see us winning.
We need to start preventing teams just bypassing our midfield and I'm struggling to see just how we're going to achieve that unless we change tactics massively. While we're creating chances and missing them I fear we'll continue to play this way in the hope things turn in our favour in front of goal.

Well the protest was a bit of a damp squib, I've seen more tennis balls left over the Dock Park from dog walkers. ;)
