I’d have got someone else after that!wtf was that about
The acceptable answers are:As much as I loved Gazza in the early-mid 90s for England, and as much as I think he actually did ok in his first full season here (98/99), it is puzzling how he could ever be someone’s favourite Boro player.
Yes it was just silence wasn’t itNeeded spec savers vouchers dont know about a tenner!
Didnt even give an answer to half the players!
I would say’s he’s my favourite since Viduka personally. I mean if you got into watching football/Boro a bit late (say 12) and have witnessed the last 16 years, you could feasibly be 28 now and have basically seen nothing of note. The very best player we’ve had in that time is probably Gaston but I’d never bring myself to say it publicly.Lee Tomlin the fella said last week!
He was a joy to watch!Lee Tubby Tomlin?
FFS.
I would say Bernie Slaven, John Hendrie, Juninho, George Boateng and Alex Nimely are all acceptable answers. The acceptable answers are:
Juninho
or
The Little Fella
Disagree. He was our best player 14/15, defenders were terrified of him. He was way more than “occasional piece of skill” that season, he was a very productive footballer and almost helped drive us to promotion (well him, Leadbitter and Bamford). He flattered to deceive in the Championship, an occasional piece of skill but mostly ineffective….Peterborough was his level.
Diego Fabrinni aka the Italian JuninhoI would say Bernie Slaven, John Hendrie, Juninho, George Boateng and Alex Nimely are all acceptable answers.
Couldn’t stop a pig in a passage.Diego Fabrinni aka the Italian Juninho
At least he managed to win himself a tenner.wtf was that about
He needed to put on a few stone of course!Couldn’t stop a pig in a passage.
I’m not really one for “labelling” players to a certain division or whatever. Gazza is often hailed as one of England’s best ever players but the truth is he only really did it consistently at the top level for 3 or 4 years, if that.Almost.
Not good enough, Aitor got rid and we got promoted the next season, he failed to produce and went on a downward spiral ending up retiring after a period at Doncaster in Division 4.
Bottom half of Championship top half of third division his level.
Na. Amazing for 3 months, then tailed off quite rapidly once the little fella signed. The stats speak for themselves, but even at the time it was clear he’d lost his mojo once Higgy became a victim of “squad rotation”.Is Nicky Barmby an acceptable answer?
