I'd almost forgotten about him but he popped up last night on the telly as manager of Queen of the South against Queen's Park. Didn't play too many times for us but I think he played in a threadbare side against Arsenal in the FA Cup semi-final along with the likes of Mickaël Debève, didn't he?

Good to hear he is still in management.
He was superb in that patched together semi-final side. We came so close that day, just Festa's own goal in it at the end.
At fmttm we used to call Allan Johnston "Slow Magic."

Think I remember him scoring a good lob over the keeper v West Ham at home.

He was brilliant at Sunderland, but looked a shadow of that when he came to us. Still gave us a few decent moments though.
