Angel's Landing

I had the pleasure of doing this hike last week and while I thoroughly enjoyed it, I was disappointed that it didn't live up to it's scary tag in a waybinhadb expected it to after watching YouTube videos like the one linked here.


For anyone else who has climbed to Angel's Landing, what were your thoughts? I am terrible with heights but wasn't bothered once during the hike. My vertigo was triggered more on Striding Edge for sure.

I’m there again next week! As someone who suffers from vertigo and who loves mountains, I have a long-standing love-hate relationship with anything like this. I find Angel’s Landing more scary than Striding Edge or even Sharp Edge on Blencathra - the drop off is so total and extreme. But it’s also breathtakingly beautiful, as indeed is all of Zion - one of the most awe-inspiringly wonderful places on earth. Can’t wait to see it again next Wednesday!!
