There was a post on Facebook recently and there are some places in USA , canada and Australia named after English footie stadiums. Quite weird seeing the maps...... a US colleague of mine lived in Plano, a suburb of Dallas.
She lived in Barnsley Drive. I stayed there for a week and found a lot of the adjoining roads had names of (mainly) northern English towns, including Saltburn Drive!
She said the 'realtor' had told her that Barnsley was a beautiful village in the North of England, and did I know it?

All of the houses looked the same.
Not a patch on the real Saltburn
ugly but functional. allows a ship to moor whilst still in the deeper bits of he Cromarty Firth. That's in the background of picture below, the cruise port pier he fell off (i think) is the nearer one. Also a stack of oil industry related hardware out in the firth.
