Just a thought, surely if Cattermole was a serious proposition he would have got the caretaker role rather than Leo? Reckon the delay is weighing up options and options weighing us up, which suggests Carrick or another outside appointment?

From what I've seen and can work out the Club were checking out on the QT various managers who might be available / interested. I've no idea what happened but something "snapped" resulting in Wilders immediate departure.

Hence this has come before we were ready for it.

This is the main reason why it is taking so long.

I have no idea who is in the frame and who is not. Clearly however it is not a short list of one
