Any plans for jet2 or easyJet to use Teesside airport?

I honestly wanted to fly from Teesside for my summer holiday but jet2 don’t fly from Teesside yet.

Have jet2 agreed to fly from Teesside next year?

Jet2 are mainly based at Leeds/Bradford and Newcastle so my logical head says they wouldn't create another base between the 2.
However somebody asked Ben Houchen about it a few weeks ago and he said watch this space.so now I'm not so sure.

Easy jet fly around all the time but only for training sadly

Jet2 are having maintenance work done on new aircraft by Willis who are based at Teesside. Three aircraft in total but two are yet to have the paintjob done yet.
