Anyone else sick of seeing other teams celebrate at the riverside !

There's nothing worse than leaving the ground with the distant echo of 400 away fans of a mediocre championship team celebrating like they've won promotion.
If only we could return to our Karanka home form.

Burnley, Coventry, Leeds.

All had significant promotion chasing wins at the Riverside in the last two seasons that has left me so jealous.

Didn't really bother me last night.

They've not been promoted, hopefully they still won't be.

They've won a game because of bad refereeing, conceded 3 and it's still not in their hands.

We haven’t beaten a single one of these teams at home this season (if you include Leeds then half of the division are unbeaten against us at the Riverside). Sort the home form and we’ll have a great chance of going up next season

Millwall
Huddersfield
QPR
Stoke
Hull
Coventry
Rotherham
Sunderland
Bristol City
Plymouth
Blackburn
Leeds (but they are 2nd)

I think the problem with our home form will continue into next season unless we add some real quality in the final third.
Not so much last night, but in general I think we have struggled at home because we have struggled to unlock teams when they set up a bit more defensively.

We have scored 27 goals and conceded 25 in 22 games. 31 points from 22 matches.

Last season we scored 46 and conceded 19 in 23 games. 46 points from 23 matches.

Yes we've been a bit more leaky but the main problem is we aren't scoring enough goals. We just don't get enough goals from those 3 positions behind the striker this season. We need 2 or 3 top quality players to add to Forss, Azaz and Jones. Greenwood and Silvera just haven't done it and McGree and Forss haven't played enough games.

The difference in quality between Leeds front 4 and our front 4 last night was night and day. That's why they are 27 points in front of us.

Nice possession football needs to be converted into actual efforts on goal. 67% possession last night - 5 shots inc 3 goals

We can’t defend - that’s our Achilles heel. Two full backs either side who can actually defend would be nice if we’re going to continue with a flat back four. Tommy Smith is good enough defensively but of course we don’t know if he’ll be as good after that injury, plus he’s getting on a bit as well.

Every goal came from Dijksteel's side last night.

We'd have performed far better with Ayling starting.
