Anyone want to go halves?

I’m seriously considering this as an alternative, do you think anyone would want to go halves on a ST?

Is it even allowed? My current situation is I can afford to buy one quite easy and it’s not down to performances or off field concerns… none of my pals want to as they either already go or not interested..

Simply, I am struggling to justify it…(a full ST) I work away, out of the country but not on a consistent rotation…
My thoughts are, I’d stump up 3/5ths or 2/3rds and keep it in my name and get the pick of my quota and the renewal when my situations better and you’d get a discount on several games and I’d even let you have any extras that I can’t make…

Does this sound a viable option? I’m not looking for someone right now as I’m just tossing the idea about in my head… I’ve only recently joined the ST club but I’m feeling gutted not getting one and that it’s not worth me buying one for next season

I think I’m leaving my self open for ridicule or pelters here but hey 🤷🏼‍♂️

Great idea Newy, I'm happy to be your business partner, we charge people £20 every other Saturday for kicking them in the unmentionables. Same feeling as watching the Boro but they'll save cash. I'm off to write up the pitch for Dragons Den.......
As a stalwart boro fan.. I don’t deserve good things. I shall watch in agony as your successful pitch gets investment from all of the dragons.

of course I will feel obligated to send you £42 each and every time I punch myself in the bollokcs. Thank you UTB

If the ground was full the club could use someone like Seatsub where if a ST holder is not going to be there because of work or whatever, you let the club know and they sell the ticket for that game for you and you get a % back to spend on tickets, club merch etc and you also sometimes get a couple of priority points for not letting your seat go empty/helping the club bring in a few quid. Other clubs have stuff like this in place and it works.

If it suits your situation it isnt a bad idea at all

Not casting any negative opinion on the OP

But how sad is it that this is what some have been reduced to.
Not taking any negativity Jedi…

Just to point out though, it’s not an issue with the club or the cost that’s got me thinking of this, just personal circumstance due to the job I’ve recently started..

I do like the idea of seat sub though but I guess that’s only viable to a club that’s sold out week in week out 🙁

If I had a relative who could benefit or a good friend it would be easier to arrange..

I even offered to do it and let my son use it for free but he has other priorities on a Saturday…

May be the club could do discounted part STs where you have a window to secure the seat you want before it’s added to general sale and you have to buy x amount up front, bit like a time share 😂

I'm in the same situation as you re: being away a lot. Used to be able to get my season ticket used by other people when I was away with them paying me for it, that deteriorated to the point I couldn't even give it away 😁 Eventually it never made sense to keep it so I gave it up and just buy match by match when I'm home now.

I know a few people who share tickets for various reasons like lads who work away, or families with dad/sons/grandsons who get a couple and take turns using them. I've worked at a few places that have ST for employees that get shared about - starts off as a bonus/reward scheme but turns into a who can be bothered system unless its a big game then the gaffers take them, this is the same sort of thing.

I have shared my season ticket with my brother in the NE for sbout 25 years. He uses it mainly but agree what games to come up from London.
