So hot off the press, I've been in the US the past week thinking dark thoughts about AT&T\Sky service, and it turns out that the 6a is not supported with Sky for VoLTE calling, which means I am stuck with WhatsApp\Teams services for calls and has caused problems with getting OTC for my credit cards and the like. If you plan using the phone in the US then bear in mind they switched off part of their service a while back and even some newer phones aren't set up to cope.6a owner here. Upgraded from a 2 I bought second hand and was mightily impressed with how well Android worked on it after being underwhelmed by Samsung's bloatware on my previous phone. Form factor was important for me n'all and the 6a plus a decent case is still useable in one hand. My boss has the 6 Pro and loves it also.
My daughter was just in New York with a 6a, she was roaming but had absolutely no issues. I don't know what network she roamed onto. In the US they're turning off their 3G network but the 6a has 4G and 5G.So hot off the press, I've been in the US the past week thinking dark thoughts about AT&T\Sky service, and it turns out that the 6a is not supported with Sky for VoLTE calling, which means I am stuck with WhatsApp\Teams services for calls and has caused problems with getting OTC for my credit cards and the like. Many travellers use the esim capability and buy a low cost local service for data.So hot off the press, I've been in the US the past week thinking dark thoughts about AT&T\Sky service, and it turns out that the 6a is not supported with Sky for VoLTE calling, which means I am stuck with WhatsApp\Teams services for calls and has caused problems with getting OTC for my credit cards and the like. Thats what initially swayed me. Samsung's were becoming more and more expensive, started my pixel journey with the 3a and never had another brand yet. Traded that for 4a and that ran perfectly till I got the 6a I've got now. Would have quite happily stayed with the 4a but got a Samsung (ironic) Tab A with this as part of the deal.Yes, great phones. I will not go back to Samsung for Andriod.

Yeah, that's me wise after the event. Took their assurances at face value as I didn't know the right questions to ask. Many travellers use the esim capability and buy a low cost local service for data.
I've got a s23 ultra now after going the cheap route with Huawei waii and xiaomi. I cant really see the fuss about the samsung skin its pretty light these days certainly compared with miui with little bloatware plus the processing power is so good speed is immense even if its not stock androidThats what initially swayed me. The Samsung menus for me are too messy, too much going on.
Do Samsung still manufacture hardware for Apple?I have got a 7pro absolutely love it. I work in the industry as well. All value for money in the market is definitely outside Apple and Samsung!
