The whole of humanity bar Michael Collins
To quote Carl Sagan.
"That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there"

That truly is one of those "just let that sink in " things.

Yes. I was having a picnic with some Clanger friends in the Sea of Tranquility. We thought it would be a nice quiet place to chill out. Then these buggers turned up.... my sausage rolls went flying and I lost sight of the ham sandwiches completely.

I don't think anyone was watching this part as this is a still of the lunar module Eagle on the orbital ascent stage after the last 24 hours on the moon. Live TV cams were well switched off at this point. After docking and transfer of the two astronauts , that craft was left to orbital decay and eventually crash back on the moon. Google told me all that. clever Google

I was there 1968, granada studios.
I'd just finished filming corrie then they asked me to film this space show.
I thought nothing of it at first, 6 month later it was on the TV pretending to be the moon landings? I was in total shock.
Then I get a call saying if I say anything I'll be F***ing stabbed in the eye.
I just kept quiet until now.
