Ashley Fletchers

i think Fletcher's worth keeping, but if he gets a better offer elsewhere good luck to him. Warnock will be looking at a target man type in the summer in the mould of that fella who we missed out to Cardiff on last summer, I reckon he might have a punt on one of the lads from Rotherham who did well against us, Smith or Crooks?
I think Warnock probably sees it this way too. He can stay if he wants to on the terms we offer, but given he has been just OK, I don't think anyone would cry if he left.

In my opinion he is the third member of our very poor forwards. Would be no loss if he did not sign a new contract. A total overhaul of our strike force is one of the most important priorities for NW to sort out.

So frustrating.
Cost us ‘finished goods’ price yet has played like a kid learning the game. 4 years later and he is just starting to improve (a little).
Very expensive apprenticeship.

Worth keeping but a two year max deal, unless we get promoted then I'd let him go as he
has is just about OK in the Champioship but I can't see him doing anything in the Premier.

Make him a reasonable offer, and if that is not accepted, then goodbye. He's not exactly Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, and we can cope without him. I trust Warnock to find someone to replace him.

He's not going to improve - he is 26 and has played about 150 games. He's hardly all of a sudden going to turn into Messi. He's OK - probably a shade better than some of our other striker options, but not irreplaceable.
The reason I would want to keep him is because I think he will improve,
I must admit I haven't watched any football since the lockdown and only watched our Charlie in the pizza cup on Sunday because it was him at Wembley.
Norm, How are you related to Wyke?

Very accurate description there in my opinion.

Like others have said, whether he stays or goes, I will remain fairly ambivalent and him.
(And before anybody jumps down my throat, yes he's a lovely lad, does lots for charity, etc......)
