Australia v South Korea

SK have been disappointing so far.
Needed injury time goals to draw in 2 group games, and won on penalties in the last round, admittedly against the Saudis who are one of the stronger Asian teams

Australia have been serene so far.

SK win written all over it 😉

Come on Korea!!

Always good to see the Aussies lose and want McGree back.

I may have asked you this before, but do NZ not consider joining Asia like the Aussies did?

I think Oceania has a guaranteed WC place now which must appeal to staying put, but in terms of competition and growing the game, is the Asian cup not something you'd want to be involved in?

NZ would make the last 16 and sometimes the last 8 at least

At that point, you may as well fold the OFC into the AFC.

I think that point came when Australia left.

NZ aren't heavyweights by any means, but they probably are compared to their Oceania competition, and there's no point just having 1 competitive team

I personally don’t like to see the Aussies win at any sport. Come on Korea!

Korea don't look anything special under Klinsmann. They were fortunate the other day. Had to play extra time and have a few days less rest than Australia. Those factors will be in Australia's favour.
