Average price of beer where you are

All the pubs around my area are over £7 🧐. No wonder I don’t go out as much as I used too. Popped into Camden Town a few weeks ago and the average was about £8.

Next week I’ll be in the sixth most expensive city in the world to drink beer in. Eeps. Probably paying £10 a pint
Was in Rekyavik earlier in the year, happy hour £11 a pint 🙈 Master Cooper £3 a pint, not sure on lager price. Best beer in this part of town, definitely got an acquired taste

when we were young it was 2 bob for a pint ,24 old pennies ,10p in new money and if you didn't want to spend that much their was mild which was cheaper. Does any one even sell it now?
Could be the next big thing!

Currently in a quiet part of Turkey (about an hour from Bodrum) paying 100 TL for an Efes Malt 50cl bottle (so about £3.33)

£2.70 for a lovely pint of Worthy in my local and £2.95 for a nice pint of Magnet in the Ship. I go in the Queens occassionally which is a little bit more expensive but again a nice pint of Magnet.

I’m into craft beers and there is a growing trend for what they call radlers. Essentially it’s weak beer/lager around about 2.5% Abv.
Ive had a few and really enjoyed them. Great the next day with no hangover or aching arthritis.

Magnet on electric pump is far superior to any of the free flow cream flow type ales, such as John Smith’s Smooth (imo).
However it’s not available in many places nowadays, probably because free flow ales are much easier to pull and need little looking after. In Norton the Unicorn (top house) and Red Lion are highly recommended if you have a taste for “ proper “ Magnet!

I was in Copenhagen a week or so ago and was generally £10/pint and in some cases only 400ml
40s are pretty standard across Scandinavia.

Copenhagen can be pricey but you've got access to some of the best beers in the world.

Swedish Crown is still quite weak at the moment which makes it more affordable than before Around 7-8 a beer in many places, albeit 40 rather than a pint. They don't price by ABV either usually 👍

Was in Dalesman in Darlo saturday as a few of us missed the london train. The magnet i'm told was a really nice pint.

(i was on Guinness, and 6 quid for both)
