Away ground with the best atmosphere?

Been some electric away days over the years, what is one that sticks out for you?

1. Remember Pompey away in 2003/4 I believe it was and we got hammered 5-1 on the last day, they couldn’t half generate an atmosphere there.

2. Bucharest away

3. Carrow road when they came back to 4-4 is one that also sticks out!

I don’t think Burnley is particularly passionate but when they equalised in added on time in our promotion season it was the most hysterical celebration I’ve seen at an away ground.

WBA and Stoke in the Premier league days, I'd imagine its a bit different now.

A lot of the grounds with the 'famous' atmospheres have been always been a bit underwhelming for me. I don't think I've heard a great atmosphere at Anfield or St James and that's after numerous visits.

Man City was really loud the day Schwarzer saved the penalty, can't think of many others.

I agree with this.
Elland Road has often been very lively.

On a smaller scale, I thought the atmosphere at Blackpool last season was belting - and they were loud and proud at our place too.

St James feels plastic as. They’re very loud when they’re loud and undoubtedly very passionate fans, but they don’t make an atmosphere.

Sevilla, for me. West Ham at Upton Park was always raucous too.

Same as the Mackems since they moved to the Stade de Shyte. Roker Park in the early 80's though was a different story, great atmosphere's back then.

Millwall probably create more atmosphere than most man for man.
Leeds are usually lively in their south stand.
Newcastle massively overrated.
Sunderland very quiet in recent years.
Wolves used to be decent.
Coventry were good last season but were riding a wave which may not last.
Sheff utd quite loud when they score 4.
One thing in certain looking at the premier League, big crowd does no mean big atmosphere.

Nowhere massively stands out but Leeds, Villa, West Ham was always a good atmosphere.

It’s nothing compared to the rest of Europe, vast majority of grounds seem to have far more passion and atmosphere than the English game

Pompey for me too. I was at that match. Yakubu hat trick wasn't it? Fratton Park was a real throwback too. Loved it.

The yak got 4 that day I’m sure of that!!!

Most grounds will be bouncing when coming back from 3 or 4 down to gain a win or a draw and last minute winners deffo help the atmosphere
