I genuinely think I may have some of the plans either in my garage or loft somewhere.. I was seeing a girl at the time who's Dad was involved in drawing up the architectural plans and I managed to get a copy of them. Not seen them in years but probably in a box I have of all my old Boro memorabilia from that era. Will have a look when I get chance although I don't recall them being that special.
Have just dug out my doom to boom, there's an artist's impression of part of a redeveloped boys end and the outside of a new stand. Tried to photo and upload, but files are too large. If you send me your email in private message I could try that way?Would love to see them if you do.

Looked dreadful didn’t it? Good job we built the Riverside. Imagine the state of the refurbed Ayresome another 30 years on?The artists impression doesn't look great.
Definitely. Like all old English grounds Ayresome would just appear from nowhere but it was in decline and could be pretty awful too. Gibson was right to move. In hindsight the location chosen wasn't the best.I know we're all nostalgic for Ayresome but let's admit it: the Riverside was the right choice and Gibson got it right.
