Bad day at the office

It was a sarky text exchange with my team mate - we both have a gripe with one manager who is p1ssing us off!

My son was telling me a tale about the company he works for was having a Teams meeting and he and his mate didn't agree with what was being said. The two were having an online conversation outside of the meeting and his mate got mixed up and sent the message so everyone could see. He tried to blag his way out of it and then did the same thing again.

Apparently, his mates had to kiss some backsides to smooth things over.

Just disappointed that my reaction to sitting in an office all day listening to a load of people moaning at me and a manager giving me daggers for something that wasn’t my fault was to hit the bottle.

If that makes sense.

Just to round my sh1tty day off I’ve got an email from my manager asking me to write a paragraph for the dept “social newsletter”

Easily done. Microsoft Teams is a fevking awful bit of software. Hate it with a passion.

Oh for the days of driving into the office and face to face meetings eh? So much better wasn’t it .

I work from home and if I had to go into the office for anything more than an hour I’d have done the same. I think it’s a natural reaction to the idiots there. Don’t worry about it.

I passed Selby on the way home.

Friday off, back today. One daft comment in a team meeting this morning sets me off.

Then dealing with more useless idiots in the afternoon makes my day complete.
