That is my favourite song. I've told my wife it has to be played at my funeralWell you didn't wake up this morning
'Cause you didn't go to bed
You were watching the whites of your eyes turn red
The calendar on your wall
Is ticking the days off
You've been reading some old letters
You smile and think how much you've changed
All the money in the world
Couldn't buy back those days
[Chorus]
You pull back the curtains
And the sun burns into your eyes
You watch a plane flying
Across the clear blue sky
This is the day
Your life will surely change
This is the day
When things fall into place
The The - This is The Day
I went yesterday while in a bad place and fed the ducks, geese, swans in Stewart park, no bread please just bird seed. It was beautiful. I'm going to do it more and take a camera to capture the beauties. It turns my bad moods into good ones.Send constructive thoughts please.

I used to live in Redcar and I would walk along the Stray regularly. You are so lucky to be able to do that.I walk from stray cafe in Redcar to Marske along the beach (tide permitting) and watch the dogs playing , always puts a smile on my face
I live in Middlesbrough but it’s worth the regular drive , I lost my wife suddenly this year and it’s one of the things that’s helped me begin to cope especially on days such as wedding anniversary etcI used to live in Redcar and I would walk along the Stray regularly. I visited soon after it opened, to train some of the office and shop staff.Next time you're up here give me a shout. I know it's a bus man's holiday but you'll be in a good place.
