Bangura goal 42 passes before he scored.

But I didn't say he was poor.
I said a big disappointment was some of his passing was sloppy and a better team may have punished us for that.
Maybe what the manager was alluding to when he said we could have performed better. Maybe not

He played a huge part in the passing of the 2 goals that we passed the ball around for ages, made space to give it Rogers for the third with some clever play. And set up the second with a corner. He was involved in all 4 of the goals and a major reason we were so dominant.

I agree with all of that but he didn't figure in my MOTM candidates because as I say some of his passing was sloppy and a better team would/could have punished that.

I watched the extended highlights and he was the hub of the wheel again. Key incisive passes for the goals and one point where his dispossessed one if their midfielders, turned and immediately made an incisive pass out wide that led to an opportunity. The lad is class. Rogers made some lovely throughballs too. The highlights were a joy to watch from a footballing perspective (by that I mean not just as a Boro fan).
