Not missing Hackney or Howson in midfield today........ some would say it's all Barlasers fault.
He is a very tidy midfielder... and he is showing it today, against the best team in the Championship!!!

I think we need to persist with this formation - I think Engel could be a superb wing back, but is so often left with no cover.
Today we have cover and more in midfield - the way we play I think this
3-4-2-1 formation makes a lot of sense.

It looks more like 5 at the back to me, 3 CB really suits our players IMO
I like barlaser and think he is a real tidy player he would be better suited to a 3 man mifldfield IMO where he can just dictate play.
Engel is another who's tenacity I like but he is limited in his defending ability and often turns his back on things which exposes him. He is however a lot better going forward than his confidence suggests at times and I wish he would be more dynamic on occasions.
There is a place for both in the squad as long as they keep improving!

They've gotten slagged off because they've been awful at different times in the season, they played well today but lets not go over the top, they've both had more bad games than good this season. I still stand by what I personally said about each player, I haven't really slated Engel, never said anything bad about Silvera and what I said about Barlaser doesn't become a lie just because he was good today

I support the club through ups and downs but that doesn't mean I blindly happy clap like some people and refuse to fairly criticise a player, Barlaser isn't a good player and will regularly put in bad performances with the occasional good one sprinkled in. Yes players have good and bad games but why would I want a player who has 5 bad to 1 good?
