He did misplace a few, but it was great to be able to get him and Mowatt on - and get them up to speed while resting Howson and Hackney

He want poor.. but he’s playing in a side that is several levels up from what he’s used too.
Great to see such a good player, play well and look ordinary. No disrespect to Barlaser.. but we are flying!!

It's difficult when you come into a game that's already won as a creative player.

Loads of pressure to play killer passes, I think he just tried to press it a bit too much rather than letting it happen.

No worries about him at all, he looks like a proper player to me.

I think by that point we'd taken our foot off the gas as a team to be fair. He did get caught on the ball and gave it away a few times but I'm in no way concerned. Think he will be a big player for us when he finds his feet.

Hecdid misplace a couple, but otherwise I thought he looked very much at home within the style of our play.

Feel bad nit-picking after a superb team performance, but he was absolutely dreadful. He is a mile off from being anywhere near a Howson replacement

At one point he was in a little trianglle with a few others knocking some one touch passes off, he misplaced a two yard pass. Really hope he comes into his own with more minutes but got a lot of improvement to make

The downside of my day, was I came to the match from visiting family in Redcar and decided I would stop off at Morgan’s in Eston Square for a couple of pasties..it was CLOSED !! When did this happen, can any collaborate and let me know how long it has been shut for.

Maybe he is trying too hard to impress, he was Rotherhams main player, and he must be chomping at the bit to play games.
He will come good, once he settles, Howson & Hackney have both been immense and undroppable, but his day will come.

I absolutely loved everything about today.
That was a joy to watch, some of the best football I have seen us play since we beat Manchester City 8-1 in May 2008.
Why on earth anyone wants to criticise anything about today is totally beyond me.
The front 4 were fabulous, Forss did well coming on.
Howson was brilliant and Hackney is a revelation.
Smith and Giles were excellent. Fry and Lenihan were so good and so confident.
Steffen didn't put a foot wrong.

All the lads who came on looked up for it and played their part.

What Carrick has done is extraordinary.
