The bill still incorporates the ECHR in UK law, including the protocol abolishing the death penalty. The UK still has international law obligations under the ECHR too. The schedule is the same as the current Human Rights Act.
Misleading - part 3 of the schedule includes the abolition of the death penalty, as set out in the 13th protocol to the ECHR (which the UK has ratified).

It’s not copied the whole Tweet (I’m not on Twitter) but that and another lawyer seem to think differently. It only needs a couple of words changing in law.

Never mind the death penalty……B & C are bad enough. If your shot dead…..or even worse accidentally shot dead then ”tough t*tty”!!
