I might give that a go. I've just started watching Alchemy of Souls and I'm quite enjoying it so far.

It's not really a "Korean drama" though, is it?

It's an American-made, English-language drama set in the US, featuring mostly American or Asian-American actors, where some of the characters portrayed are supposed to be Korean.

Korean drama (or K-drama as it's known for short) usually refers to Korean language shows, made in Korea and featuring Korean actors.

My Mrs is a K drama fan and she has said the same to me as you have written - I just keep calling it k drama to wind her up. It’s a decent watch either way - but I will consider myself corrected
