we like Engel for his heart and his forward play but he cant defend

RVB is a young kid who looks like he will be a cracking cb. A top championship rb he is not

McNair we like but again a top championship cb he is not

Dael has his solid games but he always has a daft moment on him.

We have conceeded the same number of goals as sheff wed and they are dog shat. We will do nothing until the defence is strengthened. Im pretty sure MC knows it too

We conceed 4 in 6 games.. all of which we won. Did Sheff Wed manage that?

We had a bad start.. but we’re not comparable with Sheff Wed

The draw against Plymouth wasn’t a bad result. 3-3 you can point the finger and say we conceed to many goals.. but we came away with a point there in a game that was less than straightforward.

Don’t listen to the pundits who just make stuff up on the spot to fill airtime.

We’re alright.

Yes he will be, a ruptured Achilles is a really nasty injury 🤕
We have Djiksteel and Van Damme UNLESS we could get Sorba Thomas, he could play there in a similar role that Giles had on the other side 👍

Game of opinions, iv said it every year. We wont win anything including promotion with the current crop of defenders at our disposal. We must improve in January.
 
1) -We can't afford him.
2) -He wouldn't come (over other offers he'll undoubtedly have)
3) -He doesn't suit our style of play (quality player though) BBD plays best playing left side of a 3 in a team that goes direct.

I think we need to settle down on the "we've conceded as many goals as Sheff Wed" talk

This might be true, but we have scored 15 more goals than Sheff Wed also, hence the reason we are 15 points above them.

We play a style of football that can leave us open, albeit we have been frustratingly sloppy on set pieces this year. That would be my priority to tighten up on, free goals on corners and free kicks.

But in all honesty enjoy the show when it comes to Carricks style, and everything that comes with playing more attacking football.

Also, no one is mentioning we have only conceded 4 more than Ipswich in 2nd place, and less than Southampton in 4th 👀 but that doesn't suit the slating argument.
